I Am Made of War is Kimberly's first work available in print. This poetry series explores the heart-warming and heart-wrenching moments of growing up Vietnamese-American in the United States. Through poignant moments contained in verse, she confronts racism, sexism, notions of beauty, and coming of age.
flesh is Kimberly's second work available in print. This poetry series by Kimberly Nguyen is an anthem to her womanhood. It contains raw reflections on body image, eating disorders, love, and abuse, with a love letter to her future daughter echoing in the background.
